Once a year, three $10,000 AFIELD Fellowships are awarded to fellows selected by the network.

AFIELD Fellows primarily come from the field of arts and culture : visual and performing arts, literature, cinema, design, architecture, fashion, or gastronomy.

While being recognized for their practice, they have also decided to start a social project, delivering change in a long-term and tangible way.

Their initiative usually takes the form of a school, a nonprofit, a festival, or a small business responding to the needs of a community.

New Fellows are lifelong members of a solidarity group. They get to meet through regular “Kitchen calls”, participate in the yearly events and will nominate candidates for the Fellowship the following year.
