Ella Banda

Ella Banda (Malawi) is a member of the Ozhopé, a collective comprising two artists, two photo/videographers, and a literary and cultural scholar. Their main concern is to collaboratively produce art that inspires conversations and invites people to think critically about social, economic, and political issues of everyday life.

Pamtondo Project is a feminist and non-capitalist space for women whose main occupation is grain processing and food production at a household level. This socio-cultural initiative aims at empowerment of the marginalized communities through a creative process of networking and skill-building for the women of Senti Township and their families.
