Dicky Takndare (West Papua, Indonesia) is a visual artist focused on socio-political issues in West Papua working with historical and cultural materials to create contemporary visual works to nurture discourse and share knowledge.
Udeido Collective is a group of young Papuan artists who work together to raise awareness about humanitarian issues in West Papua through artistic processes and creations. They have developed a method called Conceptual Reconstruction where ancient and traditional concepts and re-animated within a new body of contemporary works as a means to discuss current affairs.
