DHAKA Art Summit: Socially Engaged Practice Panel Discussion
The panel discussion hosted by AFIELD called ‘Socially Engaged Practice’ at the Dhaka Art Summit. The event was made possible thanks to the Samdani Art Foundation and their Founding Artistic Director & AFIELD advisor, Diana Campbell. who continue to provide opportunities for people to come together in dialogue and in community to explore art and creativity as a catalyst for change.
The event was moderated by AFIELD Advisor Gregory Castera and featured AFIELD members Shawon Akand and Dharmendra Prasad, as well as artist Ghazaleh Avarzamani, architect Rizvi Hassan, and cultural worker Salma Jamal Moushum. The speakers shared their experiences and insights on how art can be used as a tool to engage with communities and create positive change.
