Conference: Together for ‘Navire Avenir’ with Sébastien Thierry

AFIELD 2023 Peer Sébastien Thierry will be taking part in a special event entitled “Together with the Navire Avenir : A work of art to save lives in the Mediterranean”, on the Piazza at the Centre Pompidou from 17 to 22 October. A full-scale replica of his ‘Navire Avenir’ project, a 69-metre catamaran, will be unveiled at the event. This innovative project is conceived by a collective of survivors, sailors, health professionals, architects, designers, lawyers and students from all over Europe. ‘Navire Avenir’ is the first ship in a worldwide fleet dedicated to rescue missions on the high seas.
